The AP reports: “One killed as car bomb explodes at Tenn. hotel.” The massive car bomb exploded in an SUV in the parking lot of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel outside Nashville. Federal officials were on hand to provide the customary reassurance: “Investigators from the federal Joint Terrorism Task Force were at the scene, but FBI agent Doug Riggin said there was no reason to suspect terrorism.” The explosion only killed the occupant of the vehicle, although it apparently could have done substantially more damage.
