Faked lunch, part 3

In today’s Minneapolis Star Tribune Bob von Sternberg reports on John Kerry’s appearance yesterday in Beloit, Wisconsin: “Kerry talks economy in Wisconsin stop.”
All of the article is of interest, of course, but what really caught our eye is von Sternberg’s description of what Teresa Heinz Kerry “ordered” in Monroe, Wisconsin after the Kerry appearance in Beloit:

On their way to a late appearance in Dubuque, Iowa, Kerry and his wife stopped at Baumgartner’s tavern in Monroe, Wis., where Teresa Heinz Kerry ordered a Limburger cheese sandwich with raw onions and mustard on rye bread.

Von Sternberg is a careful reporter. He does not report that she actually laid her hands on the sandwich. (Courtesy of reader Rick Vatsaas.)
