The Ohio-based blog No Left Turns has a good report on a piece in the Cleveland Plain Dealer about Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell. Blackwell, a Republican and an African-American, could become a key figure in the upcoming election, the next Catherine Harris, as the Democrats would have it. If so, he seems up to it. We hope, however, that it doesn’t come to that, especially in view of Blackwell’s intention to run for Governor in 2006. Blackwell’s position with respect to provisional ballots cast outside of the voter’s precinct was upheld last week by a federal court of appeals.
