Deacon makes a guest appearance in tomorrow’s New York Times story on the efforts of left-wing bloggers to get “their reports out to mainstream news organizations.” I believe that this is an instance of what the simile “like shipping coal to Newcastle” was minted to refer to. Deacon is quoted on page 2 of the online version of the story, and the Times accords us a live link: “Liberal bloggers reaching out to major media.”
