When you say nothing at all

The Daily Standard has posted my column on the “down the memory hole” approach to opinion journalism and political history displayed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune and Walter Mondale in connection with the current controversy over the Senate’s filibuster rule: “They were against it, before they were for it.”
