A Sick Distortion of Reality

In my opinion, some of the most irresponsible political commentary in America is done by editorial cartoonists. This disgusting example, by Steve Benson, was pointed out by reader Doyle Elkins:

If you’ve read my article in the Daily Standard, you know how outrageous Benson’s characterization is. But there never seems to be any sanction imposed on left-wing editorial cartoonists who misrepresent facts. Apparently they can spew venom endlessly while hiding behind the excuse that it’s only a cartoon.
