For what it’s worth

Bob Woodward is predicting that Vice President Cheney will be the Republican nominee for president in 2008, says the Denver Post (via Michelle Malkin). Cheney is the person I’d like most to have succeed President Bush in 2009. However, even assuming that Cheney will want to run, Bush’s approval rating probably would have to improve by 5 to 10 percentage points for the Vice President to be a strong candidate.
