Murderapolis, cont’d

We’ve previously paid tribute on several occasions to the fatuous assertion by Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak that Minneapolis is “a safe city for those not involved in high-risk lifestyles.” My colleague Peter Swanson of Swanblog adds to our series noting the activities that must be added to the high-risk category in Minneapolis: “Bus rides, lawn care, and phone repair.” Peter yearns nostalgically for the good old days in Minneapolis: “Remember when the falling off the telephone pole was the most dangerous thing about the job of telephone repair?”
