Another CIA dirty trick?

Deborah Orin’s New York Post column suggests that the Joe Wilson affair constitutes the CIA’s effort to distract attention from the failures of the Agency’s performance in the run-up to the war: “Another CIA dirty trick?” The CIA campaign against the Bush administration seems to have commenced in mid-2003. It continued up to election day and, despite the best efforts of Porter Goss, seems to continue. Surely some big-time journalist will find this to be a story worthy of his interest one of these days, perhaps after the administration leaves office. Kudos to Deborah Orin for taking a look under the Wilson rock at this critical moment.
