RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman spoke with bloggers this afternoon about the excellent web video his committee is running in response to the revisionist history surrounding our decision to go to war in Iraq. As good as the video is, it’s going to take much more to counter the barrage of misrepresentations put forth by Democratic politicians (aided by their pals in the MSM), who are determined, simultaneously, to (a) slander the president, (b) excuse their cynical votes in favor of a war they probably didn’t believe in, and (c) hand a victory to the terrorists. The Dems/MSM have never halted their permanent campaign against the president, and the only way to defeat that campaign is with an unrelenting counter-campaign. And not by bloggers.
Fortunately, it’s clear that Mehlman, at least, understands this.
