Semper fi, take 2

Yesterday we observed the 230th birthday of the Marine Corps with a photo of the Corps’ unofficial mascot at Camp Pendleton. Today Jim Zoes writes:

I attended my son’s graduation from USMC Boot Camp on 9 November 2003 at MCRD San Diego. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the mascot, this fine canine warrior, who would be sitting amongst the honored dignitaries at the event. I’ve attached his picture.

UPDATE: Several readers point out that the dog appears to be a Pug. I don’t know a Pug from a British Bulldog, but the uniform does wonders for both of them.
