Divided they may fall, Part Two

The other day, I wrote about the state of disarray that Maryland Democrats find themselves in as the result of a racially charged Senate primary. The likely beneficiary is Michael Steele, the African-American Lt. Governor, whom the Repubicans will nominate.
The latest Rasmussen poll shows Steele ahead of both Democratic contenders. He leads Rep. Benjamin Cardin 45-40 and former Rep. Kweisi Mfume 45-38. Just a few months ago, Steele and Mfume were even in the polls and Cardin was up 49-41.
