On to the full Senate

The Senate Judiciary Committee has recommended Judge Alito to the full Senate. The vote was 10-8 and purely along party lines, as expected. My prediction that Alito would be confirmed on essentially a strict party-line vote (a la Owen, Brown, and Pryor) is looking good.
