Clive Davis has posted a wonderful interview about Frank Sinatra with Will Friedwald, the New York Sun popular music writer and author of Sinatra! The Song is You (among other fine books): “Frank on the Fourth.”
I noted that Friedwald’s Stardust Melodies was one of my favorite books about American popular music in the the Claremont Institute 2004 Christmas books roundup. Davis notes Friedwald’s long interview on Stardust Melodies that is accessible here.
