I Think That Was “E Pluribus Unum”

Unlike lots of conservatives, I’ve always found Dan Rather somewhat lovable, not least because of his frequent loopiness. A day or two ago, Rather was interviewed by Bill O’Reilly; they talked about the poisonous state of current politics. This audio clip of Rather contains a bizarre reference to American currency:


It could be worse, though. Rather could have thought, like Al Gore, that “E Pluribus Unum” meant “Out of one, many.”
