Imaginary liberals, part 7

Over the past month Paul Mirengoff has undertaken the discussion of Peter Beinart’s argument that American liberals alone can lead America to victory in the war on radical Islam. Paul kicked off the discussion in “Can imaginary liberals, and only imaginary liberals, win the war on terror?” and has continued the discussion in a series of posts under the heading of “Imaginary liberals.” I noted Noemie Emery’s contribution to the discussion in “Imaginary liberals, part 6.” Now George Mason University Law Professor and Hoover Institution Fellow Peter Berkowitz makes his own substantial contribution in a review/essay for Policy Review: “War-torn Democrats” (in PDF).
