Secretary Paulson speaks

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson gave his maiden speech yesterday at Columbia University. The short Wall Street Journal story by Deborah Solomon reads like the typical New York Times-style news/editorial. In her Paulson story Solomon rides the income inequality hobbyhorse that she rode most recently with Greg Ip here two weeks ago.

My favorite newspaper sent the daughter formerly known as Little Trunk to cover Secretary Paulson’s speech. She reports on the speech without the insertion of her own pet peeves in “In N.Y. address, Treasury Secretary targets entitlement programs.”
