Revisiting the Franklin case

In today’s New York Sun Eli Lake revisits the case of Larry Franklin in the light of our strategic concerns about Iran: “Vindicating Larry Franklin.” In the context of the prosecutorial nonfeasance against against the politically motivated leakers in our intelligence community, their bureaucratic supporters and their coconspirators at the New York Times and the Washington Post, the prosecution of Larry Franklin et al. does not seem to me to be susceptible of any benign interpretation.
