Two men who stood in the gap at Virginia Tech

The Jerusalem Post tells the story of Professor Liviu Librescu, “a 75-year-old [Holocaust] survivor [who] sacrificed his life to save his students in Monday’s shooting at Virginia Tech[.]” The New York Post tells the story of student Derek O’Dell, who helped barricade the door of the German class that had been attacked by the murderer. Our hearts go out to all those who lost friends and loved ones in Blacksburg yesterday.
