NFL quarterback Daunte Culpepper has been attempting for some time to obtain his release from the Miami Dolphins. After unsuccessfully attempting to trade Culpepper, the Dolphins have finally acquiesced.
Culpepper had this to say about the good news:
As I was going through this process, I heard about a quote by Gandhi that best expresses my thoughts about this victory: “first they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.”
Then, at least in this case, they ridicule you again.
