General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker are appearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, starting right about now. I won’t be able to watch it, nor will I be able to catch their testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee at 1:00 eastern time. But some of our readers will be able to watch, and many more, like me, will be able to check in from time to time to see how it’s going.
So we’ve set up a live-blog thread for today’s testimony. It begins at 9:30 eastern. If you’re able to watch some or all of the proceedings, check in and record what’s happening and your reactions. It’s a fun way to follow the event and a service to those of us who will only be able to check in periodically.
