Are you now or have you ever been?

Last month the Federalist Society celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary at its 2007 Lawyers Conference on the theme Shining City Upon a Hill: American Exceptionalism. It’s not for members only. You don’t have to believe in the Constitution of the United States or in limited government. You don’t even
have to know the secret handshake. And yet you can enjoy the proceedings in their entirety via the audio or video provided at the linked page. Among the highlights are speeches or remarks by Chief Justice Roberts, Justice Alito, Justice Thomas, Senator McConnell, and Mayor Giuliani. Also included are the usual panels with prominent speakers of different stripes addressing serious subjects.
