Does it come down to Hanover?

According to Fox News reporter Major Garrett, the Obama camp is pinning its hopes of victory tonight on Hanover, New Hampshire, home of Dartmouth College. Wow, tiny Hanover as the center of the political universe.
Michael Barone took a more sober look at the numbers and concluded that Hanover, Durham (home of the University of New Hampshire), and Exeter (home of a toney liberal prep school) could, under plausible assumptions about turnout and preference, just about overcome the 4,000 plus vote lead Hillary Clinton now holds.
UPDATE: The Clinton lead is now about 6,000 votes with about 75 percent of the vote counted. So it may be that even Hanover and New Hampshire’s other great seats of learning can’t save Obama tonight.
MORE: They can’t. Obama is conceding defeat.
