How Low Can They Go?

Al Qaeda in Iraq pulled off two bombings in Baghdad today, killing around 90 people for the bloodiest daily total since the surge began. In both cases, the “bomber” was a mentally disabled woman who likely had no idea of the purpose to which she was being put by the terrorists. The bombs were exploded remotely while the women were in Baghdad pet markets.
As I’ve said before, I think the Islamic terrorists are the most purely evil force in world history. Presumably atrocities like this one will only harden the determination of Iraqis to exterminate the remnants of al Qaeda in Iraq and other terrorist groups. Maybe it will even drive waterboarding out of the news for a day or two.
