In defense of Chris Cox

Chris Cox is the former representative of California’s Orange County-based congressional district (successively the 40th, 47th and 48th), the current chairman of the SEC and a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated from St. Thomas Academy. He is something of a Republican superstar, though he has recently been the subject of an oddly critical article in the Wall Street Journal. Quin Hillyer comes to Cox’s defense in the terrific online Spectator column “Exceptional leadership in difficult times.”
