The convention is heating up. Orson Swindle introduced former President Bush, 24 men who were POWs with John McCain, five Medal of Honor recipients, and others. Laura Bush got a warm reception, and President Bush is speaking now on video. He, too, got a warm welcome from the delegates.
We’ve gotten copies of the speeches as written. They’re embargoed until delivered, but let me just say this: Fred Thompson is going to blow the roof off the X. Don’t miss his speech.
