Palin Envy

Among British reporters and columnists are several observers interested in the Palin phenomenon. Gerard Baker of the Times (London) and Tim Shipman (see also this) of the Telegraph, for example, have provided valuable looks at Governor Palin. Now comes Melanie Phillips with a column — “Contempt, apathy and lies — why Britiain is crying out for our own ‘pitbull with lipstick'” — urging the example of Governor Palin on British politicians.
