That Didn’t Last Long

Earlier today, Palestinian terrorists launched two rockets and a mortar shell from Gaza into southern Israel. The stated purpose of Israel’s recent attack on Gaza was to end the bombardment that has emanated from Gaza for years; once the incursion was over, Hamas lost no time in trying to do the only thing it wants or knows how to do: kill Jews.

It’s premature to declare Israel’s attack on Gaza a failure based on a handful of rockets, but if the bombardment continues, Israelis may well conclude that harsher measures against Hamas are necessary.
