Three years of the Condor, cont’d

When the CIA did its best to defeat the Bush administration in 2003 and 2004, and continued to undermine it thereafter, Democratic politicians and their adjuncts in the mainstream media were the beneficiaries. Now columnist Jack Kelly reports that President Obama has already roiled the waters at Langley.

Kelly begins his column with the events I explored in my 2005 column “Three years of the Condor” and takes the story up through the transmission of House Intelligence Committe Chairman Silvestre Reyes’s letter to the CIA last week.

Kelly asks whether Obama has turned the CIA into his enemy. It’s an interesting column on a subject close to my heart, but I am quite sure the CIA will come to terms with Obama, for reasons that Kelly also touches on in the column.
