The Bradley Foundation has announced the four winners of its 2009 Bradley Prizes. Among the four is The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies. The Bradley Foundation will honor the winners, including the Federalist Society’s four founders, at a ceremony on June 3.
The four founders, who started the Society in 1982 when they were law students, are Spencer Abraham, Steven Calabresi, David McIntosh, and my friend Lee Liberman Otis. Congratulations to them and to Eugene Meyer and Leonard Leo, who have led the Federalist Society so ably for so long.
Congratulations as well to the other three winners: historian Martin Gilbert, economist Arnold Harberger, and commentator extraordinaire William Kristol.
