“Enough Already”

Byron York has been writing about the left’s abandonment of its antiwar stance now that Barack Obama is President. It seems that the media, like the left wing of the Democratic Party, have lost all interest in the antiwar movement now that it is no longer a vehicle to return the Democrats to power.
Cindy Sheehan is one of the few lonely antiwar protesters who continue to soldier on now that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are no longer George Bush’s. But with a difference: while the liberal media showered her vigils in Crawford, Texas with adoring coverage, they have no interest in her current campaign directed at the Obama administration. York documents the case of Charles Gibson and ABC News. Gibson covered Sheehan’s anti-George Bush protests extensively, but now that Sheehan will be camping out on Martha’s Vineyard to protest the Obama administration’s war policies, will ABC have its cameras on hand? No. Gibson says: “[E]nough already.”
