Kill the Bill!

The Minneapolis Star Tribune headlines tonight: Thousands rally at State Capitol to kill health care bill. The crowd, gathered on short notice on a cold March day, was impressive:

Rally organizers said 4,000 people attended, but Capitol police estimated the crowd at 2,000 or fewer.

I’m no expert, but the photos certainly seem to indicate a crowd in the thousands. David Strom posted this one:

Ed Morrissey posted this one at Hot Air; Ed was one of the speakers at the rally, along with John Kline, Michele Bachmann and others:

Does all of this activism matter? It won’t stop the Democrats from doing whatever they have to do to pass a government takeover bill, but it’s critical to continue building momentum to take the House back in November, begin efforts to repeal Obamacare should it pass, and generally reclaim our country from the reckless spendthrifts now at the wheel in Washington.
