Walking the Plank

Politico offers a list of House Democrats who most clearly appear to have walked the plank by voting in favor of Obamacare. Politico divides them into three categories: (1) tough district Democrats, (2) switchers, and (3) the upwardly mobile. The last category consists of House Dems running statewide in swing or conservative districts.
Politico identifies 20 members of the House who fit into the first two categories, and two more if you count Zack Space of Ohio and Michael Arcuri of New York who switched from “Yes” to “No,” but still seem likely to feel tremendous heat.
The final category consists of Brad Ellsworth of Indiana, Paul Hodes of New Hampshire, and Kendrick Meek of Florida, who are running for the Senate. The first two have probably made it significantly more difficult for the Democrats who hope to succeed them in the House. All three have impaired their Senate bids.
UPDATE: As I said, this is just a list of the obvious plank-walkers. There are others Dems who may have walked the plank. Then, there are open-seats and “nay” voters (in addition to Space and Arcuri) who may nonetheless be in trouble.
Jim Geraghty has a list that combines all of these categories. He identifies approximately 80 seats held by Democrats that may well be in play this year
