Cecile Bledsoe, the conservative candidate for Congress in Arkansas’ Third Congressional District, has had two good days since we wrote about her run-off with RINO Steve Womack. For one thing, she has been endorsed by Gunner DeLay, the third place finisher in Tuesday’s primary. DeLay captured about 13 percent of the vote. I understand that all or most of the other candidates are likely to endorse Bledsoe. The non-Womack vote on Tuesday was about 69 percent.
In addition, I’m told that the Bledsoe campaign had its best fund-raising day yesterday, by a factor of at least 5. I’d like to believe that Power Line readers played a part, and I thank those who contributed.
You can do so at Bledsoe’s campaign website.
ANOTHER THOUGHT: Bledsoe seems like the kind of candidate, running in the kind of race, that Sarah Palin might be interested in becoming involved with.
