Some Recovery

The Bureau of Labor Statistics closed the books on “Recovery Summer” today:

Nonfarm payroll employment changed little (-54,000) in August, and the unemployment rate was about unchanged at 9.6 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

The unemployment rate was 9.5 percent when “Recovery Summer” got underway in June. Can we all agree now that the administration’s economic policies have failed?
