It’s no secret that Senator John Thune, from my home state of South Dakota, is one of my favorites among the potential 2012 Presidential field. This report by a television station in Sioux Falls follows Thune as he and his family consider whether to make the run. I have just arrived in Washington for CPAC, where Thune will be one of the featured speakers, along with a number of the other potential contenders. Who knows? Maybe by the time the convention is over, we will have a better idea of his intentions:
