Now, That’s Scandalous!

We have to give credit to Congressman Chris Lee, for sparing us the usual drawn-out scandal. His was over in what, an hour and a half? Still, something about it nagged at the back of my mind until Iowahawk tweeted it into perspective:

Congressional ethics: texting shirtless pictures = reason to resign in disgrace. Spending $1.5 trillion you don’t have = Wednesday.

What Washington needs more than anything, perhaps, is a re-definition of what constitutes a “scandal.”
