Merry Christmas!

I hope your family is having as wonderful a holiday season as ours. After church yesterday afternoon, we had all of our children and my wife’s family with us for Christmas Eve. My wife made her sensational roast beef. My daughters gave me this very fun party game which eight or so of us played for a couple of hours.

Our youngest said she wanted a big tree this year, so our friend Ed Patton accommodated her. Not as tall as one that we had when the children were younger, when Ed had to erect scaffolding so they could decorate it, but a good 13 or 14 feet high:

Today will be lazy. Tomorrow we will make a quick trip to South Dakota to deliver my father’s Christmas present, a new–no, wait, he’s a Power Line reader, so it will have to remain a secret. Then it’s back to work.
