In our “Picks” section there’s a link to the Daily Caller item about an internal Media Matters for America memo about their “enemies” list of conservative institutions, media, financiers, and individuals. It’s a pretty Foxy list, but there’s one real howler that shows how out of touch and by-the-numb-numbers the Media Matters people are. Under the category for “Conservative donors,” they list the John M. Olin Foundation.
There’s just one small problem here. The Olin Foundation spent its last dollar and went out of business five years ago. It’s not hard to check out—it’s a matter of public record. You’d think these crack “journalists” (or are they journalists on crack?) could check this out. Meanwhile, the Media Matters list leaves out many of the most significant current conservative donors today. But I’m not going to clue them in. They can do their own damn homework. They might figure it out in another decade or so. But by then it will be too late. 😉
