King for the House

I am co-sponsoring an event for my friend King Banaian tonight at the Wayzata Yacht Club from 6 to 8 p.m. If you are within driving distance, I would encourage you to come and meet King. If not, it would be great if you would go here or here and donate a little to King’s campaign.

I got to know King when we were both on the radio at AM 1280 the Patriot. He is a professor of economics at St. Cloud State University and is well respected in that field, having consulted on economic policy with foreign governments including Ukraine and Mongolia. King is a solid conservative and a great guy. He ran for the Minnesota House of Representatives, his first foray into politics, in 2010, and won by 13 votes. No doubt the Democrats will try hard to knock him off this year. King is a classic citizen legislator; he has no agenda other than to do all he can to make Minnesota and the nation better places. So if you can make it tonight, great; if not, anything you can contribute will be much appreciated.
