Open Thread: What Do You Think of Romney’s Ad Blitz?

Early this morning, the Romney campaign announced that the ad blitz we previewed yesterday will begin today in eight states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia. Altogether there are 15 new television ads, targeted at state-specific issues and demographics. The first thing that jumps out is the list of states: no Wisconsin, Pennsylvania or Michigan. Romney can’t possibly have given up on those states, nor can he think he has them in the bag. So what is going on? Perhaps they will get to those states in a day or two.

I haven’t had time to watch all the ads yet; here is a sample, the only one of the 15 which, judging by its title, relates to the national debt:

So here is our request: If you see one or more of Romney’s ads over the course of the day, please leave a comment and let us know where you live, what ad or ads you saw, and what you thought of it (them). These ads are the beginning of the long-awaited Romney counter-attack after a summer whose airwaves were dominated by Obama’s smears, so their importance can hardly be overstated. Are they good enough to shift the momentum of the campaign to Romney? Let us know what you think.
