Scott wrote earlier this morning about Barack Obama’s struggle to define what he would accomplish in a second term that he hasn’t been able to achieve in his first. There is a reason he is struggling; there is no good answer to the question. So far, what we are seeing in 2012 is merely a rehash of what we saw four years ago. If Obama has any ideas or new approaches to accomplishing old goals, he is keeping them to himself.
