Every election season, we hear stories of lawn signs stolen, cars keyed, occasionally even criminal assaults. In almost every case, the theft, property damage or physical assault is carried out by a liberal. If I were a liberal, I would wonder about this: is there something radically wrong with my ideology? Why is it that many liberals have so little understanding of, or commitment to, the democratic process?
Sign stealers and other vandals usually operate at night and are rarely caught, although we did link to a news story the other day about four men in a union truck who were going around stealing Romney signs. Here is a rare instance where we can actually see a sign stealer, caught in the act. The sign, in support of Minnesota’s marriage amendment, belonged to a friend of mine, and his security camera caught the thief red-handed:
Maybe some of our liberal readers can explain in the comments why so many liberals think nothing of stealing other people’s property, and are so intolerant of other people’s freedom of speech.
