Time for a Power Line Rocky Mountain Meetup

So it turns out that there are a lot of clandestine Power Line readers in the Boulder area. I’ve been hearing from a lot of you.

Classes start next week and I’m in the throes of massive preparation, plus having a ton of paperwork to do as usual with any state bureaucracy.  By the way, did you know that all incoming faculty at the University of Colorado, since they are technically state employees, have to sign a notarized form that they will support and defend the Constitution?  If they took this seriously wouldn’t they have to fire a large portion of the faculty?  And you simply won’t believe the latest in sexual harassment training you have to go through.  I thought I was going to learn some new moves, but no. . .

Anyway, before classes start let’s have a meet up for some beer.  And let’s have it this Saturday from 4 – 6 pm at the Bohemian Biergarten at 2017 13th Street in downtown Boulder.  Preferably over a long table in the back room, because what’s a conservative conspiracy if it isn’t over a long table in the back room of a German beer hall?  We can call it our “Take Back Boulder!” event.  I’ll be there in my gray Power Line t-shirt, camera in hand for some glam shots for the site.

If you ride your bike there, however, you’ll have to buy a round.  Otherwise for sensible people there’s a parking lot on Spruce Street right around the corner.  But if you drive a hybrid you’ll have to buy two rounds.  We’ll be watching.

Please RSVP either in the comment thread here, or in email to me, so I know how many tables to sequester from the local granola munchers.  Not to worry if you miss this one; a fellow lover of liberty, Tyler Hart, is organizing another beer fest for September 19 in Lakewood.  Full details in due course.
