Today’s #Obamacarefail

So the “Navigator” geniuses running Obamacare have been referring people in New York to call . . . a cupcake shop:

Thanks to ObamaCare, New Yorkers can now get health insurance with rainbow sprinkles.

In yet another bungle for the botched government insurance rollout, the state Health Department has mistakenly listed numerous non-health-related business as enrollment sites — including a Brooklyn cupcake shop that has been besieged by callers.

“I have nothing to do with this,” said Carmen Rodriguez owner of Brooklyn Cupcake in Williamsburg. “I run a very busy establishment, and I’m like, what is going on?”

Because of the mistake, her bakery has gotten 150 calls from people seeking medical-insurance information.

Out in California, some loyal Obamanauts are not too happy to see their health insurance premiums double and benefits offered go down.  What part of “redistribution” did they not understand?

San Francisco architect Lee Hammack says he and his wife, JoEllen Brothers, are “cradle Democrats.” They have donated to the liberal group Organizing for America and worked the phone banks a year ago for President Obama’s re-election. . .

The couple — Lee, 60, and JoEllen, 59 — have been paying $550 a month for their health coverage — a plan that offers solid coverage, not one of the skimpy plans Obama has criticized. But recently, Kaiser informed them the plan would be canceled at the end of the year because it did not meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act. The couple would need to find another one. The cost would be around double what they pay now, but the benefits would be worse. . .  [Hammack] has written to California’s senators and his representative, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., asking for help.

Well good luck with that.

Meanwhile, the White House website still says people can keep their coverage if they like it.  But we shouldn’t be surprised, since this gang has shown they’re not too good at keeping up websites.
