News For Seattle Area Readers

For our Seattle area readers (that would be you, Michael Sheldon, among others), mark your calendar for lunch on Monday, September 15.  I’ll be speaking for the Chapman Center for Citizen Leadership, a project of the Discovery Institute in honor of its founder, Bruce Chapman—an old pal and all around great guy.

Local talk radio host John Carlson—another old pal—will be the master of ceremonies, which guarantees we’ll have mucho fun.  I’ll be speaking on the topic “Was Ronald Reagan the Last Statesman? Reflections on the Challenge of Leadership in the 21st Century.”  The lunch—$50—is open to the public, and you can register here.  Book early: the lunch will be held at the Harbor Club, and I expect it will sell out.
