When we last checked in on the “Corruption in 30 seconds” video contest sponsored by the left-wing loons of MoveOn and MAYDAY.US, our friends at American Commitment had claimed victory for their spot highlighting the epic hypocrisy of billionaire of Tom Steyer and his hundred-million dollar understanding with Democrats around the country. MoveOn/MAYDAY urged applicants to “make a 30-second ad to wake up America to the crisis of big money in our politics.” The public had been invited to vote on the contest entries. When the public spoke and all the votes were counted, American Commitment’s video had crushed the competition.
This couldn’t stand. What was to be done? MoveOn/MAYDAY selected another video the winner of the contest.
American Commitment President Phil Kerpen has issued the following statement on the results this morning: “The leaders of “pro-democracy” groups chose a video that got 99 votes over a video that got 7,590 votes — because the latter was about liberal Tom Steyer and the former was against fossil fuels. It speaks for itself.”
Here once more once is a look at American Commitment’s landslide popular vote winner, the aptly titled “America’s biggest hypocrite” (7,590 votes).
Official winner “This is Your Country” (99 votes) can be seen here. “This is your country,” progressively speaking.
