Who Reads Power Line?

Richard Morgan, that’s who.  Morgan is the William Nelson Cromwell professor of constitutional and international law at Bowdoin College in Maine, where he is that rarity in higher education today—he teaches undergraduates about the Constitution.  One of the untold scandals/travesties of higher education today is how fast constitutional law for undergraduates is disappearing from most political science curricula.  (There was even a panel on the problem at this year’s American Political Science Association annual convention.)  And needless to say, when it is taught, it is often from a left-wing perspective.

That’s not what you get from Dick Morgan, who will be properly installed in Power Line’s 100 Best Professors in America roster when I get that dormant series back up and running.    (He also has exquisite knowledge of single malts, which I learned when I visited with him up at Bowdoin last spring.) In the meantime, we’re flattered that he begins his day with Power Line:
