The State Department’s twin Valley girls, Jen Psaki and Marie Harf, are not the only Obama administration spokespeople who often get tied up in knots. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest is just as bad. Fox’s Ed Henry asked Earnest to explain why the 21 beheaded Christians were not described as such, while the three murdered Muslims in North Carolina were the subject of a lecture by President Obama on religious tolerance, even though there is no evidence that their religion played any role in the crime. As usual, Earnest can only twist in the wind:
It would take a more penetrating intellect than Earnest’s to unravel the Obama administration’s tangled and inconsistent attitudes toward religion and terrorism.
