Netanyahu’s question

Secretary of Defense Carter is in Israel to reassure the Israelis in the wake of the catastrophic deal the United has entered into with Iran. We are facilitating and funding Iran’s nuclear program; what can Carter say to mitigate what any fool can see?

The Israeli media report that Obama national security adviser Susan Rice has put in a call to former President Shimon Peres. In a Saturday call with Peres, Rice is said to have explained that the administration is ready to offer Israel a military compensation package of unprecedented scope. The Times of Israel provides Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the notion of a reimbursement package Sunday, saying that no amount of compensation would be enough to confront a nuclear armed Iran “sworn to our destruction.”

“Why should we need to be compensated if the deal is supposed to make us safer?” he asked. “The deal endangers our security, our survival even, and the security of the Middle East and the world,” Netanyahu said, during a US media blitz in the wake of the deal.

“Why should we need to be compensated if the deal is supposed to make us safer?” That is a devastating question. It should at least jostle the mask worn by the conscienceless liars of the Obama administration out peddling this deal to the American people.
